Styrofoam Recycling Event

When: Saturday August 10, 2024
Time: 9 am to noon (or until truck is full!)
Where: Frontier Sports Complex, 3380 Cedar Glade Dr., Naperville

What is accepted:
– Rigid Styrofoam® (expanded polystyrene) packaging, containers, shipping padding, foam coolers, etc.
– CLEAN Styrofoam® food containers – cups, clamshells, meat trays (These should be brought in clear or colored plastic bags that will be recycled).
– Lions will also be accepting used eyeglasses, phones, running shoes, key fobs, keys, brass, hearing aids, printer cartridges.

NOT accepted:
– Brown polyurethane foam
– Flexible squishy polyethylene foam
– Packing peanuts -may not be Styrofoam (take to UPS for re-use)
– Blue building insulation
– Dirty, food contaminated items
